Dental Implants NHS

If you are resident in the United Kingdom, there is a chance that the NHS may pay for dental implant treatment. However, they will not pay for dental implants on the basis of cosmetic reasons – you must demonstrate that there is a clear medical need and that the procedure will result in a major benefit for you. You should discuss this with your dentist.
If you are unable to obtain NHS funding for dental implants, there are other options open to you. You could approach a dental school to see if they will take you on as a patient, or you may be able to obtain a specialist dental loan. Many dental clinics often have their own finance schemes, which allow you to pay for your treatment in instalments.
